As could be expected Textron Aviation introduced the King Air 260 as the follow up of the Beechcraft King Air 250, the current production model.
The King Air 260 has about the same new features as the King Air 360 announced earlier this year. This means an updated autothrottle, a digital pressurisation controller, a new weather radar and newly designed seats. This all means that there are no external differences, unfortunately. Production of the 260 has already begun, and certification and initial deliveries are expected in early 2021.
